Précision_sur la representation :	Le sujet représente une scène de baignade au bord d'un lac et à flanc de falaises. Des drapeaux tricolores sont installés sur les maisons et les abords du rivage. A gauche, apparaît une mère et son enfant, accompagnés d'un chien blanc. Plus au centre un homme en costume noir parle avec un groupe de trois baigneurs. A droite, deux jeunes hommes, assis et à mi-corps, se détachent sur deux voiles de bateau. Le style est simplifié et synthétisé par des figures allongées et filiformes assez raides.
