Historique :	Il s'agit d'une des toiles de retable de la Vierge, classé au titre des Monuments historiques en 1912 (PM95000585). La signature P. Sauvage pourrait renvoyer à Philippe Sauvage (né à Villiers-le-Bel), qui exposa au salon à partir de 1863. Il était l'élève de Léon Dausaert (qui vivait à Ecouen en 1882) et de Edouard Frère (1819-1886), qui vécut et mourut à Ecouen.
