Précision sur_l'état :	Statue anciennement décapée.
Précision_sur la representation :	"Sainte Marie l'Egyptienne est représentée "la tête couverte de longs cheveux pendants, les yeux baissés, les mains jointes, les pieds nus, semblent indiquer une pénitente. Je ne pense pas que l'on puisse penser à une Vertu, à la Foi, par exemple, bien que cette figure, avec sa physionomie sérieuse, mais peu expressive, paraisse appartenir au même atelier que la Prudence et la Charité. Le costume comprend une robe et un manteau à manches plus courtes et plus larges que celles de la robe. Dans le jet des draperies, par endroit chiffonnées et comme mouillées, il me semble bien apercevoir une parenté avec les figures de Vertus qui surmontent les fonds baptismaux de Magny" (Louis Régnier). On remarque une main posée sur l'épaule droite de la sainte."
