Historique :	Le culte rendu au diacre Vincent, traditionnellement protecteur de la vigne, a toujours été particulièrement fervent dans cette ville composée d'une majorité de vignerons. Cette statue qui ornait probablement la chapelle consacrée aux protecteur des vignerons dans l'ancienne église s'est retrouvée au 19e siècle dans une famille de vignerons d'Argenteuil qui l'a léguée à la ville en 1985 et entrée par la suite dans les collections du musée d'Argenteuil.

Précision_sur la representation :	Saint Vincent debout est en habit de diacre : aube et dalmatique à col d'amict, au devant drapé et torsadé. Son aube retombe en plis cassés sur ses chaussures. Sa jambe droite avancée lui confère un léger hanchement. Sa main droite en position fermée est percée pour recevoir une pampre de vigne à trois grappes. Son bras gauche est replié et sa main ouverte ; un livre y a été posé mais n'est pas d'origine. Son visage juvénile est encadré d'une chevelure dorlotée.
