Précision_sur la representation :	Le berger en prière est agenouillé, les mains jointes. Son visage est large, les cheveux frangés sur le front et laissés longs sur les côtés. Il porte une jaque aux manches serrées à partir du coude, recouverte d'un chaperon avec capuchon dans le dos. Sur le côté droit, pend une besace qui semble attachée à sa ceinture ; il tient contre lui, sous le bras gauche, une houlette à cuiller. Il porte des chausses s'arrêtant au genou et tombant sur ses chaussures. En pendant, un agneau dans une attitude d'escalade, s'appuie de ses pattes antérieures sur rocher semé de végétation stylisée.
