Description :	Un coffre dont le couvercle sert de siège est logé entre deux montants latéraux formant jouées terminés par des accotoirs moulurés larges et plats. Base entourée d'une plinthe formant soubassement. Dossier dans l'esprit de la Seconde Renaissance : le panneau central présente en perspective une voûte en plein cintre à caissons dont les pilastres ont un décor de losanges imbriqués. La fuite des lignes du carrelage et de l'entablement et le jeu des proportions donne un effet de profondeur.

Historique :	En dépit de l'ornementation de son dossier, sans rapport au reste du meuble, ce siège a conservé sa structure médiévale. Ce fauteuil appelé cathèdre est à proprement parler un siège d'apparat pour un célébrant.
