Historique :	Ce portrait est une copie d'une oeuvre conservée au musée du Louvre et qui était autrefois attribuée à Vélasquez. Il a été réalisé au pastel par la princesse Mathilde Laetitia Wilhelmine Bonaparte (1820-1904), qui s'adonnait au dessin et à la peinture avec des artistes réputés comme Eugène Giraud par exemple. Il a été donnée à la commune par la famille de la princesse Mathilde, celle-ci ayant eu sa résidence dans la commune.

Précision_sur la representation :	Portrait d'un jeune homme en buste, de trois-quart. Le modèle, peint au pastel sur un fond marron, porte une chevelure mi longue noire, une barbe assez courte et il a les yeux bleus. Il est habillé d'une chemise au col blanc, d'un vêtement marron brun et d'une cape marron clair.
