Historique :	Ce groupe sculpté présente des caractères communs avec ceux des églises de Wy-dit-Joli-Village ou d'Hérouville dans le Vexin. Les silhouettes à la fois robustes et allongées ont une allure imposante. Le long manteau-voile, la guimpe qui couvre le cou de sainte Anne, et les chaussures à bouts ronds sont des motifs vestimentaires caractéristiques du milieu du 16e siècle. Toutefois, la souplesse des drapés aux plis déjà élaborés, la finesse des traits du visage ou l'effilement des doigts indiquent un traitement sculptural légèrement postérieur.

Précision_sur la representation :	Sainte Anne est debout, le genou gauche légèrement saillant sous le vêtement. Elle porte un ample manteau ramené sur la tête faisant office de voile et drapé en tablier sur le devant. De la main gauche, elle maintient contre son ventre le livre ouvert et tandis que sa main droite entoure Marie. La Vierge, juchée sur un petit tertre et placée de profil, arrive à la hauteur de la taille de sa mère ; à l'aide de son index pointé sur le livre, elle suit attentivement la lecture. Elle est vêtue d'une robe à manches ballons avec bas de manches à crevés et motif de croisillons ; sa taille est enveloppée dans une ample draperie et ses cheveux descendent en longues mèches ondulées dans le dos.
