Historique :	Ce Christ avec sa croix d'origine date probablement du début du 18e siècle.

Précision_sur la representation :	Représenté les deux bras tendus en oblique, il développe une musculature saillante et détaillée. L'iconographie n'a rien de particulier : elle appartient pleinement à l'époque classique qui représente indifféremment Jésus fixé à la croix par quatre ou trois clous ; il a les deux pieds parallèles, posés sur le suppedaneum, et non pas ramenés l'un sur l'autre. La qualité de la sculpture apparaît dans le modelé du corps nu, dans le traitement de l'étoffe du perizonium et dans les détails particulièrement soignés et élégants des cheveux longs et de la petite barbe bouclée. II manque cependant la couronne d'épines au-dessus du visage.
