Précision_sur la representation :	La Vierge se présente dans une position légèrement hanchée, le genou gauche saillant ; elle est vêtue d'une robe décolletée en V, dont les manches longues sont retroussées aux poignets. La robe, serrée à la taille et abondamment plissée en partie inférieure, s'écrase au sol en ondes tout en découvrant l'extrémité des pieds chaussés de sandales. Le visage de la Vierge est encadré d'une épaisse chevelure brune redoublée d'un voile court flottant à l'arrière. Elle tient l'Enfant Jésus assis sur son bras gauche, qui bénit de la main droite. Il est vêtu d'un simple linge passé sur l'épaule gauche et ramené entre les jambes, qui paraît se prolonger pour s'enrouler autour des hanches de sa mère. Les visages charnus sont calmes et peu expressifs. L'ampleur des drapés et la posture des personnages permettent de dater cette sculpture du 18e siècle.
