Historique :	La statue a été découverte dans la maison d'un habitant d'Eragny-sur-Oise. Après le décès du propriétaire, elle a été donnée au curé de la paroisse au début de l'année 2009 ; le curé en a ensuite fait don à la commune pour qu'elle soit restaurée et présentée dans l'église.

Précision sur_l'état :	La statue découverte en deux morceaux a été restaurée par Serge Giordani en 2011 : consolidation et remise à jour de la polychromie sur le manteau et la melote.
Précision sur la localisation :	anciennement commune de : Eragny-sur-Oise
Précision_sur la representation :	La statue représente saint Jean-Baptiste vêtu de la peau de chameau et d'un manteau qui lui couvre le dos et les épaules ; son visage mutilé est barbu et les cheveux ondulés à l'arrière. Il a le bras gauche replié pour porter l'agneau qui a disparu. Au dos la statue conserve une polychromie rouge très usée avec des restes de décors de brocarts noirs, ayant sans doute oxydé.
