Historique :	Ecole italienne. Ce tableau pourrait avoir été donné, avec son pendant, l'Ecce Homo, vers 1640 par Guillaume Parfaict, seigneur des Tournelles et conseiller du roi au Parlement de Paris, dont la fille, Soeur Anne de Jésus, fit profession au Carmel de Pontoise le 18 septembre 1640.
