Historique :	Ecole française. La Mère Marie de l'Enfant Jésus (1632-1674), née Marie-Charlotte Brandon, était la fille unique de Philibert Bradon, conseiller du roi, et de Marie de Ligny. Par sa mère, elle était la petite nièce du chancelier Séguier. A neuf ans, elle fut confiée au Carmel de Pontoise. Elle y fit profession à 17 ans. Après avoir été maîtresse des novices, elle fut élue prieure à 40 ans. A la mort de sa mère, son père entra dans les ordres et fut promu évêque de Périgueux en 1647.
