Historique :	Datation : 1895 ou 1897. Le tramway à vapeur de Bordeaux à Cadillac (Gironde), qui a fonctionné de 1897 à 1935, était une ligne d'intérêt local, à caractère suburbain, de trente deux kilomètres. Elle était établie presque totalement en accotement de la route, d'où la désignation de 'tramway' et aussi en gabarit très étroit comme les tramways urbains de l'époque, deux mètres de large. La voiture B 39 est l'une des trente deux voitures du tramway de Bordeaux à Cadillac, rare témoignage de ces tramways. Le MTVS a procédé à un transfert de matériel classé MH de son établissement principal (site de Butry sur Oise, dans le Val d’Oise) vers son établissement secondaire situé à Crévecoeur le Grand dans l’Oise (lettre du 28 janvier 2020).
